Fred Kacos Jr.
Fred began helping the hearing impaired back in 1984. He joined the McDonald Audiology Group in 1989. “I wasn’t sure if I would like the work, but I’ve found it rewarding in many ways. By honestly striving to do the best for the patients served, I’ve developed relationships and made friends along the way. And now, I’m beginning to see the children of those families placing their trust in me as someone who is there to help with their hearing needs as well, so, I this really has been a rewarding career. It’s great to be able to say your work or job is a pleasure, I’m truly the fortunate one”.
Also, Fred worked 5 years as a “State of Michigan Licensing Examiner” for incoming candidates seeking licensure in the hearing health field.
Fred is married to RoxAnn. Together they had three sons and a daughter, and now, three grandsons and one granddaughter blessing him as well. No pets, but several guitars. Music is the hobby and life long endeavor, along with travel.
Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Central Michigan University and earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Wayne State University. Her motivation comes from her father having a hearing loss due to a traumatic event as a child.
She was born and raised on the west side of Michigan and is excited to be back and practicing in the Grand Rapids area. She enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time at the beach.
