Richard McDonald, Founder, CEO & President
Richard received his Business Degree from Davenport
University. He has contributed 45 years of professional service
and commitment to helping those in need of hearing health care.
Richard has seen the hearing aid industry grow from analogy hearing
aids to the newest technology in digital programmable instruments.
Patients are now receiving the benefits from hearing aids more
then ever before. He is a licensed Hearing Aid
Dealer and a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Richard received his
certification through the International Hearing Aid Society. The
opportunity to attend St Mary's Preparatory School and Barbara
Hall Military Academy provided him with the leadership skills,
discipline, integrity and honestly that is needed to become a
successful entrepreneur.
Richard served as President and on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Hearing Aid Society and was instrumental in getting licensing passed in the State of Michigan for Hearing Aid Dispensers. He worked and provided information to insurance providers to help on pricing for hearing aids and services before it became a benefit to their members. Richard has received the Diamond award in 2004-2006 for outstanding performance in his field. He also received a Recognition award from 2004-2005 with the Hearing Starkey Alliance. Richard is an avid golfer and enjoys vacationing in Florida with his family and friends.
Sandra McDonald, Co-Founder & Vice President
Sandra received her Business Degree from Grand Rapids
Community College and has over 31 years experience as a Hearing
Instrument Specialist licensed by the Board of Hearing Aid Dealers.
She received her certification from the International Hearing Aid
Society. Sandra is the Executive Administrator for all locations
and is responsible for office procedures and operating
polices. She believes that by communicating the specific benefits
based on each patient's individual feelings and needs, we can
help them begin to see our recommendation as a quality of life investment,
not as a cost they must reluctantly endure as the result of a hearing
disability.
Sandra is a member of Alliance of Women Entrepreneur and National Association of Female Executives.
She loves to spend time with her five grandchildren and enjoys supporting them in their many activities.
Pamela D. Keenan, M.A., CCC-A
Pamela is originally from the Lansing area and is
a certified audiologist licensed in the state of Michigan. She graduated
from Central Michigan University with her Bachelor of Science
degree in Communications Disorders in 1991. She then received
her Masters of Arts Degree in Audiology from Michigan State University
in 1992. Pamela is currently working on her Doctor of Audiology
Degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Pamela's 16 years
of combined experience with the training she received from the Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, Oyer Speech, Language & Hearing Clinic,
Internship with Starkey Laboratories in Minnesota and McDonald
Audiology & Hearing Health Care has provided her with hands
on exposure to all aspects of the hearing health care field. She
is a member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Michigan
Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Audiology.
Pamela lives in Kentwood and enjoys spending time with her
husband Vernon and sons Justin and Bryce.
Frederick Kacos Jr.
Fred brings 24 years of experience in the hearing health care field. He is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and is also certified through the International Hearing Aid Society. Fred served as a test examiner with the State of Michigan for 5 years for Hearing Aid Dispensers licensing. In his spare time he enjoys playing in his band and entertaining others with his many musical talents. He lives in Rockford with his wife Roxanne.
